Copycat Disney Rice Krispie Treats by Arecipeforfun
Nostalgic Main Street USA-style marshmallow cereal treat with a soft, chewy Disney-inspired texture.

Ingredients
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1/4 tsp fine salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows, for folding in
- 1 tbsp butter, for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Grease a 9x13-inch pan with the extra butter and line it with parchment if desired, about 5 minutes.
- Melt the 6 tablespoons butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, then stir in the 10 ounces mini marshmallows and salt until smooth, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla, then quickly fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated, about 1 minute.
- Fold in the extra 1 cup mini marshmallows while the mixture is still warm so they soften but do not fully melt, about 30 seconds.
- Press the mixture gently into the prepared pan with buttered hands or a spatula, keeping it compact but not packed hard, about 2 minutes.
- Cool at room temperature until set, at least 30 minutes, then cut into 12 squares.
