Cheese Stuffed Banana Peppers by Anti Inflammatory

Mild banana peppers filled with a savory three-cheese blend, baked until golden and bubbling.

Ingredients

  • 8 banana peppers, mild
  • 225g (1 cup) cream cheese, softened
  • 50g (1/2 cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 25g (1/4 cup) parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the banana peppers thoroughly, slice them lengthwise, and carefully remove all seeds.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, salt, and parsley in a mixing bowl until well incorporated.
  3. Fill each prepared pepper cavity generously with the cheese mixture using a spoon.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and lightly brush the outside of the stuffed peppers with olive oil.
  5. Cook the peppers in the air fryer for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the heat, let them cool slightly for 2 minutes, and serve warm.
