  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 0.5 cup onion, finely diced
  • 0.25 cup green onion, chopped
  • 0.5 cup mushrooms, finely minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 0.5 tsp white pepper
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 12 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tbsp chili crisp
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine ground pork, onion, green onion, mushrooms, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, bouillon, white pepper, and black pepper in a bowl; mix until well incorporated.
  2. Prepare a baking dish by layering the meat mixture first, followed by a layer of shredded lettuce.
  3. Place dumpling wrappers over the lettuce layer, ensuring they are not touching the very bottom of the dish.
  4. Pour the chicken broth over the layers to ensure the dish remains juicy during steaming.
  5. Cover the dish and steam for 15 minutes or until the pork is fully cooked and wrappers are tender.
  6. Remove from heat, top with chili crisp, extra green onion, and sesame seeds before serving.
