Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 0.5 cup onion, finely diced
- 0.25 cup green onion, chopped
- 0.5 cup mushrooms, finely minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 0.5 tsp white pepper
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 12 dumpling wrappers
- 2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Combine ground pork, onion, green onion, mushrooms, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, bouillon, white pepper, and black pepper in a bowl; mix until well incorporated.
- Prepare a baking dish by layering the meat mixture first, followed by a layer of shredded lettuce.
- Place dumpling wrappers over the lettuce layer, ensuring they are not touching the very bottom of the dish.
- Pour the chicken broth over the layers to ensure the dish remains juicy during steaming.
- Cover the dish and steam for 15 minutes or until the pork is fully cooked and wrappers are tender.
- Remove from heat, top with chili crisp, extra green onion, and sesame seeds before serving.
