Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo, minced
- 1 tbsp adobo sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp chipotle peppers in adobo, minced
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Stir together the honey, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, and lime juice, then toss with the hot chicken for 1-2 minutes until glossy and sticky.
- Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, chipotle, lime juice, cilantro, and salt to make the chipotle crema.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20-30 seconds until pliable.
- Fill each tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and honey chipotle chicken, then drizzle with chipotle crema.
- Roll the wraps tightly and serve immediately while the chicken is warm.
